Sonata in D Minor K. 213 – Domenico Scarlatti

Many thanks to Drew Henderson for his wonderful arrangement and for his guidance and inspiration. I think this particular Sonata, fits extremely well on the guitar. Scarlatti has captured a melody of depth and intensity with moments of delicacy when shifting to the dominant key. As I continue to work on this sonata, I plan to bring the tempo up just a bit, and explore more tone variation on repeated sections.
